Jane has a First Class Honours Social Science Degree and Training/Facilitation Qualification. Jane is also a Qualified Life & Business Coach (Accredited by the European Coaching Institute ECI) and is an active member of the Life & Business Coaching Association of Ireland and the International Coaching Federation. Jane is also a qualified Career Coach Assessor (www.fireworkcoaching.com) and a licensed and qualified Emotional Intelligence Assessor (EQI).

Previous to becoming a coach, Jane worked within the area of Executive Search & Recruitment and HR consulting where she excelled as a manager. These assignments involved carrying out consulting projects for some of Ireland’s brand name clients. Jane uses this vital experience gained in her Executive and Career coaching sessions with her clients.

Jane works on an associate basis with the Positive Success Group Dublin. She has been a co facilitator on the Diploma in Executive and Personal Coaching Dip Programme, in All Hallows College Dublin and soon to run a Certificate in Career Coaching. More recently Jane is contracting out her services to deliver her successful “Back to Work Programmes” for the following list of well known organisations - INOU, BEGIN AGAIN, AREA PARTNERSHIPS/SKILLNETS).

Carmel has a background in psychology and recruitment, making her an industry expert and someone who can help you get your career on the right track. She studied in the University of Surrey and qualified with a BSc in Applied Psychology and Sociology, specialising in organisational and work psychology, accredited through the British Psychological Society. She is a Certified Career Coach with the well respected Fireworks Career Coaching Institute in the U.K and a Qualified Career Psyhometics Level A & B Assessor and qualified Trainer.

Having worked for one of the largest recruitment agencies in the world, Carmel has recruited for Senior Finance, Office Support, IT and Senior International Placements.

Carmel has contributed to articles for regional newspapers on CV and Cover Letter preparation as well as interview techniques. She presented at the 2009 Gradireland Careers Fair and has collaborated with regional college careers offices to run seminars for both graduates and undergraduates. Most recently Carmel was asked to present at Choices 2011 Irelands largest Career Fair (January 2011) and took part in the successful CV clinic.

Carmel is passionate about helping people make the correct decisions within their career. She is highly motivational, focused and gifted at bringing out the best in others. She is fully trained in Jane Downes’s tried and tested approach to effective Career Transition, Interviewing and facing the marketplace. She is a qualified Psychometric Level A and B Career Assessor accredited by The British Psychological Society of Ireland, and holds a ‘Train The Trainer’ qualification also.

Caroline has a background in Human Resources Consulting. She has worked throughout Ireland, advising companies on all aspects of their Human Resources requirements and needs including strategic recruitment and training.  She also has a background in both in-house and Agency Recruitment, having recruited for some of Ireland’s and Europe’s largest companies. 

Caroline can offer clients a full range of Career Coaching services such as career transition planning. CV coaching and Interview skills development along with HR and Employment Law advice assisting with documentation (e.g. contracts and employee handbooks); support and advice about HR legal issues; updates on legislation; redundancy advice and procedures for employees and post-redundancy advice.

Caroline is a natural coach focused, reflective and effective with an innate ability to bring out the best in the person she is working with and most importantly create results for her clients.

Caroline has studied at the University of Manchester, where she completed a Bsc (Hons) degree in Psychology and Sociology. She has also completed an Msc in Sociology in the NUI Maynooth. Caroline is a Qualified Career Coach Assessor and is fully trained in the Clearview Coaching Group approach to effective career transition and all aspects of career management coaching.
