I was very happy with the coaching provided by Jane. I knew I needed a career change but was unsure of how to make it happen. Jane helped to provide me with structure and focus and pointed to my strengths and skills, thereby increasing my confidence when I applied for new roles. This was very helpful when updating my CV and preparing for interview and ultimately I was successful in getting a new role.

I cannot recommend Jane at Clearview Coaching Services enough. I have worked with her on two separate occasions, and each time her guidance has been invaluable.

The first time I sought Jane’s help, I was planning a relocation after over a decade of self-employment in a niche field abroad. Her structured approach and thoughtful guidance helped me identify a passion—both personal and professional—in a sector I had never previously considered, which inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in the subject.

After completing my degree, I turned to Jane once again for help with CV writing and interview preparation. Her insight, active listening skills, and tailored advice were instrumental in helping me present myself confidently and effectively, and within a month, I was offered a job opportunity I am delighted with.

I found Jane knowledgeable, empathetic, and, most importantly, very attuned to my personal situation, which made me feel understood and motivated to put in the work needed—with her guidance—to undertake the challenges of relocation as well as a complete change in career direction.

Jane was the best investment I could have made for my career. During a period where I was very unclear on what my next moves should be, Jane was able to see me, my skills and my experience and present multiple paths I never would have considered.
She was also able to put things into a much needed perspective and helped me work on a complete career change which I can confidently say would never have happened without her. I will certainly be using her services in the future and I would recommend her to everyone.

I highly recommend Jane Downes and Clear View Coaching. After finishing up with a company after almost 19 years I knew I would need professional career coaching to help bring my brand, profile and indeed confidence up to date as I embarked on my new job search and I am delighted I opted for Clear View Coaching for that task!

I completed the 5 stage job search programme and I found it dynamic, supportive and highly energised. I emerged with a great LinkedIn profile and CV along with key insights into where my next career opportunity lay. In an unusual jobs market I was out of my comfort zone and it was fantastic to link in with Jane for guidance, feedback and support throughout.

I landed a great job which I am excited about and I will be engaging back in with Jane and her team for future career coaching support. Highly recommended

I worked with Jane for 4 sessions, she is quite efficient and succinct. She has some templates on CV and interviews, and usually designs the calls around these. The sessions started strong, and I got a lot out of our first call. The second session on CV was slightly weak as it was designed for a more traditional role, or a role likely in Marketing or Sales, and not customised for new specializations that didn't exist 15 years ago and that's something not really on her! The third session was on interviews and career north star, which was helpful. All and all, her effectiveness and observations are beneficial, and if this is your first career coaching make sure you lead the conversation to get most out of the sessions.

I had a great session with Jane where she took me through my CV and gave me some really good advice on my job search. I took Jane's notes and updated my CV and then she feedback until we had the CV in tip top shape.

The service was invaluable as I secured a job and I got great feedback on my CV from my new employer.

All in all, the service was great and well worth it.
